I am getting the error "You do not have permission to view the profile page for this user." when I click on another students name in the forums.

You will typically receive this error when you click on a student's name in a forum

As a student, you do not have permission to look at other students' profiles. In order to see their posts and reply to them, you will need to click on the title of the post in the first column rather than their name.
